Scots Barbie star Sharon Rooney cancels Glasgow Film Theatre appearance due to writer's strike
Scots actress Sharon Rooney has cancelled her appearance at the screening of the Barbie movie in Glasgow due to the Screen Actors Guild strike.
The 34-year-old, who is known for her role in Two Doors Down, landed the role in the blockbuster film which stars Margot Robbie as the titular character and Ryan Gosling as Ken. She said: "I think what Barbie’s taught me is that you can do anything and be everything because she’s a woman who – literally – does everything.
