Rusty-spotted cats are so tiny, newborn kittens weigh just 60 to 77 grams
A Scots zoo has welcomed the birth of the one of the smallest cats in the world - believed to be the first ever born in the country.
New born kittens weigh between 60 to 77 grams, with rusty-spotted cats being listed as near threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. The popular zoo said they were absolutely delighted to welcome their new addition who was born to first time mum Nainika."We are absolutely thrilled to announce the birth of a rusty-spotted cat kitten here at Five Sisters Zoo! The little one arrived four weeks ago to first time mum Nainika.
