Cruise passengers waited 14 hours for a delayed TUI flight from Edinburgh Airport to Spain - only to be told the plane wouldn't take off and their ship had set sail.
Furious TUI passengers have told how their £4,000 Mediterranean cruise was cancelled after their flight was cancelled while they were at the airport.
TUI then told holidaymakers the flight had been further delayed - but after 14 hours announced the plane would not take off and their cruise had left without them. "There were people in wheelchairs, children in prams, just sitting there for 14 hours. I've never seen anything like it in my life. "TUI said they will give us a full refund but it doesn't cover the cost of our parking, our dog's boarding fees or the loss of a week's holiday from my work."I’ll never use TUI again. I understand problems can arise but the treatment we received was disgusting.
The holiday chaos comes after 100 Brits announced they were taking legal action against TUI after their cruise was cut short in January this year.
