That’s the rumor in one tabloid this week.claims Richie is “itching to get hitched” to Disick in order to start a family together. “Sofia wants to be a young mom and start having kids right away,” a supposed “pal” tells the the tabloid. “In fact, nobody would be surprised if Scott and Sofia are already trying for a baby behind closed doors.
“Sofia’s been texting Scott screengrabs of wedding rings and wedding venues,” yet another “friend” spills. “Word is, they’re talking about having a New Year’s ceremony in Malibu with fireworks!” The supposed source also adds that the couple does in fact plan to invite Kardashian to the ceremony. “Scott was never the marrying kind, but he’s fallen hard for Sofia and will do anything to make her happy,” the alleged insider concludes. “Meanwhile, Sofia’s ready to put down some serious roots — and Scott seems keen as well.”ran the story by Disick’s spokesperson, who brushed it off entirely. The whole thing is just made-up drama about the couple.
It is interesting, however, that the outlet is willing to reference and stand by its past article about the proposal, but completely ignore its previous “report” aboutand wasn’t looking for a serious relationship. That article was in April, so we imagine in a few more months, the tabloid will turn around and begin proclaiming that the two are separating again.
Additionally, the tabloid specifically refers to Disick as never being “the marrying kind,” most likely because he never actually proposed to Kardashian during their relationship. However, Disick had in fact planned on proposing to Kardashian while filmingin 2011 and had even selected a ring for her — not exactly the actions of someone opposed to marriage. Once he discovered that she wasn’t interested in walking down the aisle, he decided not to go forward with the proposal.
