Former prime minister Scott Morrison admitted COVID-19 factors and national cabinet hurt his election chances in his first speech since being booted as PM.“Morrison’s leadership was a dud as he chased one marketing pitch after another with no framework or overarching narrative as to what his government was all about.”
Mr Bernardi said Mr Morrison had abandoned traditional Liberal Party principles during the pandemic along with most of his colleagues. “Incredibly, next to none of his colleagues were prepared to advocate for these historic values either – Senators Rennick, Antic and Canavan are just a few who did.”
