It comes as Victorian officials are reportedly considering a fifth lockdown to curb a growing COVID-19 outbreak in the state. He said the temporary Medicare telehealth system will be reinstalled to ensure people in Sydney COVID-19 hotspots have access to longer medical appointments. Ms Berejiklian said she expected higher case numbers on Friday given the number of people still infectious in the community.Mr Morrison said he's had discussions with Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews on Thursday.
The latest cases are in addition to the ten local cases in the 24 hours to Thursday morning, all of which were previously reported.
