The Scottish FA have asked clubs to back a proposal to see the salaries of key board members doubled.

reports clubs will be polled on the proposal at the Annual General Meeting of the Scottish FA on Thursday, June 6.

It's claimed the proposal would see president Mike Mulraney's salary double from £25k to £50k with vice president Les Gray going from £15k to £35k. Alison McGregor and Malcolm Kpedekpo - independent non-executive directors - would have their pay increased to £30k to"match industry norms".The Scottish FA proposal comes after a report commissioned by the Remuneration Sub-Committee which highlighted a disparity in the financial package received by board members was lower than by those in similar positions in England or further afield.
