Scottish football club partners with Islamic charity to feed families

This is the third year the football club has partnered with the charity amid the ongoing cost of living crisis.

Celtic FC Foundation has partnered with Islamic Relief UK to help feed local communities.

The packages contained various items such as tinned vegetables, tinned soup, cereal and biscuits, as well as an ASDA voucher worth £15. Both organisations have acknowledged the ongoing cost of living crisis, which has placed additional strains on household budgets across the country.Tony Hamilton, chief executive of Celtic FC Foundation, said: “We managed to do this in March, thanks to Islamic Relief UK, and we’re delighted we can do it again.
