A huge sheet of ice in Greenland is melting at a rate that couldn't be stopped even if all greenhouse gas emissions halted across the globe.
A newly published paper predicts that more than 3% of that ice sheet will melt between now and the end of the century, triggering almost a foot of sea level rise.
