Sean Connery's wife stages secret send off as icon taken on final trip around Scotland
Sean Connery‘s wife and family staged a celebration of his life to mark what would have been his 92nd birthday yesterday.
The entourage arrived aboard the privately hired Royal Scotsman train, owned by the Louis Vuitton group, yesterday morning at Edinburgh’s Waverley Station. A source told the Daily Record: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw Micheline and her party step off the train. “We understand Sir Sean’s ashes were scattered at various different points of importance to him in his life. It has all been building up to their final destination which was Edinburgh and Dalmeny yesterday. I thought it was brilliant to see the old-fashioned train and I felt like I was in some sort of movie scene. As they exited the train a fleet of 15 silver, black and burgundy people carriers arrived outside the station.
They then travelled to the privately hired Dalmeny House estate for their exclusive celebration of Sir Sean’s life. Connery’s son Jason and his friend Alex Salmond were understood to be among the guests at the top secret bash.
