Everton boss Sean Dyche has admitted he has walked into a club that requires a huge amount of repair work – and quickly.

“It’s been three years of knocks, of negativity, it seems to me,” Dyche said. “If you think about the bottom half, no-one really talks too much about other people having bad runs, they all talk about Everton, because we made it an easy story. “We have to start the process. We’ve had spells of nearly starting that, spells when it didn’t quite go to plan, and this has been a really tough spell. It just added more fuel on Monday, to the Everton story.
