Sean Strickland made to eat his words after saying Alex Pereira’s striking skills 'suck' UFC276
Top middleweight contender Sean Strickland will be dining on a big slice of humble pie this morning after being knocked out by the man whose striking he mocked just days earlier.win over Jared Cannonier in the UFC 276 main event in Las Vegas.The winner of Strickland vs. Pereira was guaranteed the next crack at Adesanya’s middleweight title, established himself as the number one middleweight contender when he stopped Strickland inside three minutes on the undercard.
Despite being a former Glory champion, ‘Po Atan’ failed to impress his opponent in the build-up to their UFC 276 fight.“What is Pereira? [Stands up and mimics Pereira]. The only reason you can do that is because you’re f****** tall. You’re genetically gifted. If you were a normal sized f****** human being, you wouldn’t even f****** be here. You’re style sucks.”
