One lucky Australian is $15 million richer but may not even know it yet following Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw. The player holds one of two division one winning tickets in Oz Lotto draw 1594. While The Lott officials know the winning ticket was sold at Seraglio Lotto in South Melbourne, exactly who bought it remains a mystery. The winning entry was unregistered, meaning lottery officials must wait for the winner to come forward to claim their prize.
“While we’ve been unable to confirm the division one win with the winner, we’re sure that when they check their ticket and discover their news they’ll be jumping for joy,” she said. “We’re encouraging everyone to check their entries because they might be the newly minted multi-millionaire we’re searching for.” The other division one winning ticket belonged to a NSW player, who also took home $15 million. More than $12.2 million was won in the draw.
