Emergency services were called to Laughtondale, near Wisemans Ferry, after the man was reported missing at 6.10pm yesterday.
The 32-year-old Oatley man had been on a family holiday when he jumped into the water and didn't resurface.Emergency services searched through the night. "He's dived into the water, come back up at the back at the ladder, dived back under and hasn't been seen since," Chief Inspector Peter Jenkins said.A large group of emergency service crews began searching for the man but had to suspend their efforts due to poor light just before 10pm.The search resumed this morning at 8am, with police divers joining the crews to now search for the man's body.
