An emergency radio beacon was triggered about 8pm on Thursday, and a multi-agency search and rescue operation began.It is understood the three men had left on a seven-metre Goodwin Longboat for a fishing trip on Tuesday.Four helicopters were also part of the search yesterday.The first man, a 43-year-old from Bray Park, was pulled from the water just before 6am on Friday.
He was treated by paramedics on the boat before being winched to a helicopter and flown to Mackay Base Hospital.The man told the rescue crew that his younger brother, a 41-year-old also from Grasstree Beach, was still missing.
