The ongoing search for Jay Slater has intensified as the hunt for the missing teenager approaches its third week. Jay Slater, 19, from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, vanished on June 17 while on the Spanish island. He was last seen departing an Airbnb in the north of the island, near the village of Masca, at about 8am that day.
On Sunday, ex-Metropolitan Police officer Mark Williams-Thomas suggested that Mr Slater's disappearance could be connected to an "established criminal network". Jay's heartbroken family, including his mother Debbie, father Warren Slater and older brother Zak, remain in Tenerife as they persist in their quest for answers regarding his disappearance.
