Paramedics and a helicopter have been called to a popular swimming spot to look for two men who reportedly failed to resurface while swimming.
A search and rescue operation is under way for two men who reportedly went missing while swimming at a waterfall in Far North Queensland .
Paramedics were called to Millaa Millaa Falls, about 100 kilometres south-west of Cairns, just before 9am. Queensland Ambulance Service said it was told two men had failed to resurface at the popular swimming spot on the Atherton Tablelands.Police said a third man had been taken to hospital.Chris Draper, Queensland Ambulance Service director of group operations in the far north, said three men had jumped into the water at the falls and two were unaccounted for.
