The search for a 77-year-old man missing for two days at a small, Queensland seaside town is ramping up as police call for residents' help. Queensland Police said Paul Kearns was on holidays at Burrum Heads, about 300 kilometres north of Brisbane, when family reported him missing at 4:30pm on Monday.Paul Kearns was last seen at a residential address in Burrum Heads on Monday, December 16.A two-day search involving police patrols on foot, motorbikes, and drones, State Emergency Services, Rural Fire Brigade and volunteers from Queensland Remote Area Tracking has not yet located Mr Kearns.
He was last seen wearing a grey and yellow t-shirt, navy long shorts, a yellow and green camouflage cap and sneakers. Police said they and Mr Kearn's family hold concerns for his welfare, and he has a medical condition which can cause confusion.Emergency services including police and rural fire services have not been able to locate Mr Kearns.
