A large-scale search has been launched for an Australian man who has gone overboard while on a Royal Caribbean cruise from Brisbane to Hawaii.The passenger reportedly fell overboard on day five of the 16-day cruise.The ship had made a stop at Tahiti and was heading to Honolulu when the incident occurred.
A search and rescue mission is under way for the missing passenger and the US Navy has been called in to assist.that his stepson worked as a dancer on the ship and his daughter and wife were also on board. “There was an announcement that there was a medical emergency and that a person had passed away which does happen from time to time,” Mark said.
“But an hour and a half later, they got the call-out that somebody had gone overboard, and it turned out to be the partner of the person that passed away.”
