It is the third stabbing in a week,A massive downtown search was underway Tuesday morning for a light-skinned man with curly hair, after the woman was stabbed through her tent in a homeless encampment near Second and L streets. The suspect was last seen running west on 3rd Street from L Street and is still at large, police said.until further notice.

A passerby called in a report of an unresponsive man on a bench in Central Park, less than half a mile from Monday’s stabbing. First responders discovered the deceased man had been stabbed repeatedly.
