First responders are searching for a woman and an 8-year-old boy after the vehicle they were in rolled into the Snoqualmie River in Fall City early Sunday.
Washington State Patrol trooper Rick Johnson said a family of four were inside the vehicle when the driver, a 35-year-old Carnation man, lost control while attempting a left turn while on westbound State Route 202 near 332nd Avenue Southeast and rolled into the river just before 2 a.m.
The driver was able to get out of the vehicle with an 8-month-old girl, but a woman and an 8-year-old have not been found, law enforcement said.Troopers said the driver was arrested for driving under the influence. First responders with the King County Sheriff’s Office and Eastside Fire & Rescue are assisting in the search for the SUV.
