The hit Netflix show, At Home with the Furys, firmly put Morecambe on the map
The seaside town where world boxing champion Tyson Fury lives there has been named as one of the coolest places in the UK.
Throughout the series, Tyson is often out running with his dog along the seafront in Morecambe. The town in Lancashire sits on the Irish sea and has grown in popularity over the years.The Netflix series shows Tyson's deep love for the town and he often says he wouldn't like to live anywhere else.
You can also have a fun day out at the arcades and relax in a great pub or enjoy fish and chips on the seafront. The sand itself is nice and soft, making it perfect for an afternoon's sunbathing if you're lucky enough to be there during a rare day of good weather, reports the Mirror. They will be filled with plants and art exhibits, "showcasing natural abundance and the rhythms of life linked to the sun", according to the project's website. The floor beneath will be filled with "an immersive series of theatrical experiences that bring to life lunar rhythms and tides."
