A man, who died in a head-on collision on Monday, has been linked to the murder of Sydney woman Preethi Redd who was found stabbed in a suitcase.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a missing Penrith woman whose body was found overnight.
Initial inquiries revealed she attended a fast food restaurant on George Street near King Street about 2.15am that day and appeared to leave alone, walking toward Market Street.CCTV footage shows Ms Reddy at a McDonald's inside the Strand Arcade in Sydney's CBD about 2.15am on Sunday.Her sister, Nithya Reddy, posted on Facebook that she had previously been located at Hotel Urban in Greenwich on Sydney's lower north shore.
Following an appeal for information to the community, Preethi’s vehicle was located parked on Strachan Street, Kingsford, about 9.30pm on Tuesday.She had been stabbed numerous times.
