A second man has been charged over the cold case disappearance and suspected murder of Jay Brodgen in the Whitsundays 12 years ago. 9News
It comes after Braddon Peter Charles Butler, 33, was extradited from Sydney to Brisbane in March and also charged with murder.A 2015 coronial inquest into Mr Brodgen's disappearance ruled his death was likely the result of foul play.
Earlier this year, police posted a billboard on the side of the highway at Cannonvale to encourage anyone with information to contact police. A $250,000 reward remains in place for any information leading to a conviction and police will provide indemnity for anyone who is not the principal offender.
