Police yesterday announced Grace had been handed over to police, almost a fortnight after authorities alleged she was taken without permission by her mother, Laura Hinks, during a supervised parental visit in the Darwin suburb of Berrimah. Police said Grace was in good physical health and would undergo a medical check, but gave no information about where she had been.Earlier this week police said a group peddling "ideologies and false information" was behind the alleged abduction.
