Secretary of State Antony Blinken praised the talks with his Chinese counterpart, and even extended an invite to Washington DC in the near future.
Mr Blinken became the highest-ranking United States official in the Biden administration to visit China, having postponed his initial planned visit in February due to the spy balloon saga.
