The three main Ohio Republicans who are in the mix to run against Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown next year had quite different reactions to ex-President Donald Trump’s arraignment on federal charges earlier this week.

“As Donald Trump’s shadow ‘hangs heavy’ over Ohio Republicans’ ‘family fight,’ this is the latest indication of just how messy and chaotic this primary battle will get,” ODP spokesperson Reeves Oyster said in a statement.
