Queen Sarah of St Winning's and her royal party will officially start their year at the Segdoune Gala which is due to take place in Kilwinning on Saturday, May 18 with the crowning ceremony at 12.30pm.
"Sarah said she is feeling very happy and honoured she has been selected to be the Segdoune Queen and she is really looking forward to the gala day." Chair of Choose Kilwinning, Aaran McDonald said: "The Segdoune Gala is the longest-standing event in the Kilwinning town calendar, We were blown away with the support we had last year and we are excited to be hosting the Gala again this year. Each year we fundraise to hold these events so please keep an eye out for the Purple Choose Kilwinning Collection Tins in and around the town!"
