Wind farm proposal off north Devon should be decided nationally, MP says.

North Devon Council said it would weigh up all the potential benefits and impacts when deciding the proposalProposed onshore electrical work for a floating wind farm off north Devon would "decimate huge sections of the coastline", an MP has said. Flotation Energy, the company behind the plans, said it continued to work with residents to address their concerns., underground cables would need to be installed from Saunton Sands car park to a new substation at East Yelland.
Residents at a public meeting in nearby Braunton on Tuesday said they were concerned about the potential impact on the environment and increased traffic from lorries.
