Select your Leeds United XI to face Ipswich Town
Leeds United completed their fifth signing of the summer on Thursday evening as Dutch striker Joel Piroe was signed for an eight-figure fee. The signing of a new forward was high on Daniel Farke's wish list and the landing of the in-demand Piroe from Swansea is something of a coup for the club.
Will Farke be tempted to throw the 24-year-old straight in at Portman Road this weekend when Leeds take on an in-form Ipswich Town side? The Leeds boss has been unable to fill his substitutes bench in recent matches, but with the addition of Piroe, plus the return to the squad of Wilfried Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra, Farke has now found that his options are finally opening up, particularly from an attacking point of view.
Leo Hjelde is also available again after he missed the draw with West Bromwich Albion last weekend through concussion, although Farke revealed an injury to Dan James when he underwent pre-match press conference duties on Thursday. So how should the team look for the clash against the buoyant Tractor Boys, who sit on top of the early Championship table after winning their first three matches?
Should Piroe be thrown straight in? Do Gnonto and Sinisterra return to the starting line-up? We're asking you to construct your Leeds United starting XI for Saturday's match as Leeds United go in search of their first Championship win of the season and look to build on this mood of growing confidence around the club.
