J.D. Vance endorses Bernie Moreno, reportedly in hopes of avoiding a 'bloody primary'
Ohio Republican U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance has endorsed Westlake entrepreneur Bernie Moreno in 2024 U.S. Senate race.
In a press release announcing his endorsement, Vance praised Moreno’s business experience, as well as his commitment to issues like the southern border and confronting China that were central to Vance’s own campaign. “ believes that Bernie is the candidate best positioned to quickly unify both the conservative grass roots and the Ohio donor class around his campaign,” the source explained.Dolan is already in the race, and he can personally fund much of his campaign just as he did in 2022. If Davidson runs, he’ll likely have the backing of Club for Growth, the well-heeled conservative organization that backed last cycle’s GOP runner-up Josh Mandel’s.
