All 48 Senate Democrats, plus the two Independents who caucus with them, and Republican Senators Mitt Romney of Utah, Susan Collins of Maine, and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, voted for her confirmation. The Senate gallery erupted in applause and many gave Jackson a standing ovation. On Monday, Romney, Collins, and Murkowski joined all Senate Democrats in supporting Biden's high court pick and voted to advance Jackson's nomination out of committee.
