Hundreds of drivers have been allegedly busted with drugs in their systems during New South Wales Police's three-day operation targeting reckless motorists.
NSW Police bust 21 drink drivers and 224 motorists with drugs in system as three-day operation to wrap up Sunday morning
The main target for the force are drivers who are fatigued and driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, all three which contribute to the annual road toll. On the first day, more than 38,000 drivers were randomly breath tested with 21 drink driving offences recorded. While the figure is low, it is still a concern for police.
