We are currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our team. This role combines the responsibilities of a senior technical specialist, leveraging your development skills, knowledge, and understanding of our existing products and solutions. You will be instrumental in extending features and functionality, as well as providing ongoing support and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong professional background in software development and a deep understanding of technology.
Furthermore, they should exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and colleagues. As a Senior Technical Developer, you will work closely with the Development Manager and VBU Lead on various tasks, including executing development and support-related activities upon request. You will be involved in customer engagements, from onboarding new clients and resolving technical issues at existing customer sites to assisting in the design and development of new features and requirements. This often involves collaborating with architects, customer agents, support teams, and other development teams. You will contribute to crafting design documentation and effectively communicate it to stakeholders.Your technical expertise will be crucial in resolving development challenges and removing impediments through collaborative efforts with development team members. You will actively participate in technical discussions, approval processes, and scoping forums, providing valuable advice and ensuring the most suitable technical decisions are made to promote the longevity of our products. Your responsibilities will encompass analyzing user needs, feature requests, and bugs to develop applications aligned with our established architecture. You will ensure the timely delivery of optimal product enhancements within agreed-upon timeframes. Additionally, you will stay abreast of industry events, policies, and technological advancements that may necessitate changes within our products and services to maintain their effectiveness. Your role will also involve collaborating with all development team members to influence optimal testing strategies for deployed products and solutions, aiming to allocate less than 10% of development effort to testing. You will conduct security audits to identify areas for improvement across code creation, database access, solution access, and authentication, as well as address web vulnerabilities and other security-related concerns.Your responsibilities will extend to taking ownership of specifying and implementing corrective actions for any vulnerability scans or security threats encountered within our CXM solutions. You will be responsible for setting up and managing a cloud-hosted environment, ensuring its optimal performance, and implementing cost-effective strategies. You will also take ownership of addressing any security vulnerabilities or threats within the CXM cloud-hosted environment.This role requires a solid understanding of Telecommunications Software Solutions, including those used by Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Enterprises, Governments, Regulatory Authorities, Law Enforcement Agencies, and Financial Institutions. Previous experience with any of the following solution streams, either at Adapt IT or another organization, is highly advantageous: Data Extraction, Ingestion, High Volume, and Performance. A strong technical background, including proficiency in programming, mobile or website systems, security principles, and shell scripting, is essential. The ideal candidate will have five to ten years of senior development experience and the ability to craft products and solutions from scratch, as well as support, maintain, and enhance existing ones. They should also be adept at introducing cost-effective improvements
