OUR client, a cutting-edge Tech company, has an exciting opportunity for a fully Remote role for the coding expertise of an Intermediate – Senior Full Stack Developer with strong PHP to join its team. You will, however, be required to attend face-to-face Sprint planning sessions every three weeks in Somerset West, Cape Town.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using a modern tech stack. Applicants will require a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field, 3-7 years relevant work experience with proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Laravel, Tailwind CSS, RESTful API & Git.Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack.Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to improving development processes.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .Back-End: Proficient in PHP and MySQL for building robust server-side applications and database management. Front-End: Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating responsive and interactive user interfaces.Proficiency in for building dynamic Font-end applications.Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.Flexible to accommodate occasional after-hours work for critical deployments or maintenance.Familiarity with DevOps practices, such as CI/CD pipelines or containerisation .Understanding of software best practices and web accessibility standards.Experience with GenAI LLM Integration and Prompt Engineering.Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup.Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.While we would really like to respond to every application, should you not be contacted for this position within 10 working days please consider your application unsuccessful.
