Our client is hiring a Senior PHP Developer to join a leading medico-legal service and technology provider based in the UK. With a multi-national team of developers, clinicians, and customer service specialists, they are at the forefront of the UK market, offering seamless access to medical records and radiology for solicitors and medical experts.
Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate with a team of software developers to build high-performance and reliable software, mentor and support fellow developers, and ensure strong security and reliability standards. Your role will involve documenting key features and initiatives throughout the development process, identifying and implementing the most effective technologies and solutions to address complex challenges in a cost-efficient and innovative manner, developing robust back-end solutions following SOLID principles, and writing automated tests to maintain software quality and long-term stability.Compiling pre- and post-development documentation related to the features and initiatives that are on the road map. Assist in evaluating the best technology and solutions to solve complex problems in a cost effective and creative way.Writing automated tests to support your development and maintenance efforts. Ensuring code and features are properly tested from a development point-of-view prior to entering the QA phase.Mentor junior and mid developers where possible.A relevant university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and work experience.Experience working in Linux-based environments and developing scalable web applications.PHP Backend & MVC Development JavaScript Advantageous Skills : o Bash/Shell scripting
