Serena's pregnancy ends speculation about final WTA tour
Retired tennis superstar is expecting a second daughter, which ends the speculation about one final shot on the WTA Tour, has announced that she is expecting a second baby girl with husband Alexis Ohanian.
She stunned the tennis world by claiming during a press conference to promote her investment company Serena Ventures last year: “I’m not retired. The chances [to return to the WTA Tour] are very high.” The 42-year-old ex-world no.1 is a five-time Wimbledon winner, but must surely be on the verge of quitting. She scraps around the pro circuit with little success, and shows vulnerability rather than vintage displays.
