About 9.20am on Friday, emergency services were called to Rawson Place in Haymarket following reports of a stabbing.Police were told a 55-year-old man was stabbed in the lower back, chest and shoulder.The man was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical but stable condition.A 37-year-old man has been arrested and taken to Day Street Police Station.The Service NSW office was evacuated and it will likely be closed for the rest of the day while police investigate.
