Seven charged after police raid Blockade Australia’s Blue Mountains gathering | ameliamcguiree
Seven people have been charged after NSW police clashed with members of a climate activist group in the Blue Mountains on Sunday.
Seven individuals, all under the age of 40 and from three eastern states, were charged with an array of offences and were refused bail before their appearance in Penrith Local Court on Monday. Local residents said individuals from around Australia began gathering at the Blue Mountains residence about 10 days ago.
