Seven men have been charged with drug offences after Queensland Police allegedly seized almost $40 million of cannabis from a rural property at Boondooma in the south-west region.
The seven men were arrested after police allegedly seized more than 15,000 cannabis plants and 50 kilograms of dried cannabis, as well as generators and hydroponic equipment.The hydroponic equipment found at the site has been dismantled and investigations are continuing.
Police footage after officers uncovered a cannabis operation worth nearly $40 million in southwest Queensland. The raid followed an arrest in July when officers located around 200 kilograms of processed cannabis on the Warrego Highway at Helidon, travelling inbound to Brisbane.All men were charged with one count each of producing and possessing a dangerous drug .
