This new storm is producing scattered showers and thunderstorms from Texas into other parts of the South right now.Scattered severe storms could produce damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes from the northern Gulf Coast into the Lower Mississippi and Ohio valleys. Jackson, Mississippi; Memphis, Tennessee; and New Orleans are some of the cities that could see severe storms.
