Angus Taylor's mistake included the claim that a classic Australian food product had increased by 8 per cent in the past month - the amount it had actually increased in the past year.
In a question posed to the Prime Minister, Mr Taylor claimed there had been massive increases in food prices in the last month alone.

“This guy wants to be treasurer of Australia. He's got to stop making mistakes like that. It's a shocker. It's a shocker,” Mr Clennell said.
