The world has remembered cricket’s “first rockstar” following the tragic passing of Shane Warne.
It an emotional evening which saw global superstars such as Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran and Elton John deliver moving songs, his former teammates and mates recalled countless stories, while his family and children revealed their heartache. “I would do anything just to have one more you have your cuddles and to hear your voice tell me how proud of me you were and how much you loved me. I never thought one’s voice to bring such comfort until I can no longer hear it.
Moments later, as the wind picked up and swirled around the MCG, comedian Glenn Robbins added: “I just think we heard from Shane then. He was trying to blow your hair off his head.
