This hugely popular Shark carpet cleaner has been reduced by a big £100 in the Black Friday sale - and writer Samuel gave it a go to see if it was worth the price tag
A cleaning gadget that I recently put to the test, which left my carpets looking brand new, has had its price slashed by £100. As Shark kicks off its early Black Friday sale, the Shark CarpetXpert HairPro Pet Deep Carpet Cleaner is now available at a tempting discount, dropping from £349.99 to £249.99.
It comes with five attachments for the StainStriker tube, as well as a bottle of StainStriker and CarpetXpert cleaning formula. Setting it up is pretty straightforward, with a handy instruction manual to guide you through the process. Alternatively, if you're tech-savvy, there's a QR code you can scan to watch 'how-to' videos.
Each time I emptied the tank, a mountain of hidden hair revealed itself. The bold claims by Shark about its cleaner are considerable; it boasts of removing "three times more pet hair than any upright carpet cleaner" and with the feature that "instantly removes stains and odours with 20 times more stain striking power".
With Black Friday around the corner, Shark has slashed prices across several top-selling gadgets, joining the fray as retailers jostle for attention during this peak shopping period. Amazon is also joining the discount party by reducing the Vax Dual Power Pet Advance Carpet Cleaner from £119 to a tempting £99.99, boasting a 4.3 out of 5-star rating from over 4,000 reviews.
