Mulitalo comes off contract at the end of this season. It has been expected that he would re-sign with the Sharks — the club he’s played all of his 110 NRL games for — until a shock report last week revealed“I looked at that and had a laugh,” he said.“I know it’s a business, I need to put food on my family, but I love this club to death, and hope it all falls into place.
“The main thing for me is to play footy. I have a team around me who know what my ambitions are and what I want to do in this game.While Mulitalo made a joke about playing halfback to earn a bigger pay cheque, he explained that when it comes to his next move, “there’s more to it than just money.” “Success is a big part of it, and I’m at the point of my career now where championships matter.
