The children of Australia’s most feared terrorist could be alive in Syria, according to a shock new claim by a jihadi bride from Melbourne.
The fate of his three children, Zaynab, 17, Hoda, 16, and Hamzah, 9 has been uncertain since Sharrouf and his other two children, sons Abdullah and Zarqawi, died in an air strike in 2017.Sharrouf shocked Australia when he produced a picture of his then nine-year-old son holding a severed head.believed to be Zehra Duman, now aged 25, who is known as Australia’s first jihadi bride. She became infamous for recruiting women to join IS and was a vocal supporter of the group on social media.
“They’re fine and they’re alive … I don’t know if they’re going to leave or not, I haven’t kept in contact with them so I don’t know,” she said on the video.The Australian government confirmed last night it could follow the British government’s lead, which will strip ISIS bride Shamima Begum, 19, of her citizenship so she can’t return to the UK,A government spokeswoman said Australian officials did not facilitate the safe passage of people out of the conflict zones.
