When Serrano first pitched “Primo,” executive producer Mike Schur, who’s known for the shows “Parks and Recreation” and “The Good Place,” said he pictured a story about a kid who does not have“And the balance became he’s got five dads and one mom, and the mom is stronger than all the five dads put together,” Schur said.
