But who has lodged an objection to this dissolution, and why?The EFL confirmed in the middle of February that they had put the matter on hold, pending responses to queries that they had over the takeover:

The Daily Mail reported that ‘ “There are various clubs under embargo and some have paid their players late, but we have never done that and have no intention of doing that. I have the money in the bank to pay the wages at the end of this month. That’s complete and utter bullshit.”
At such a pivotal time of the season, this all raises some very interesting questions. Sheffield United’s value as a football club increases substantially with promotion to the Premier League. Because they were relegated two years ago, they’re still receiving parachute payments at around £40m for this season, and going up guarantees at least £100m for one full season, plus a minimum of another three years’ parachute payments at 55, 45 and 35% of their previous TV income.
