Soto was arrested Tuesday and is facing felony burglary and arson charges, the sheriff’s office said. The homeowner called 911 at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday and reported Soto broke into his home on the 16000 block of Shepherd Road near Von Ormy, according to the sheriff’s office. She reportedly stole several things from the house, and then set the home on fire. The homeowner was not her boyfriend, but her boyfriend lived in the home.
