After almost 40 years of rock'n'roll domination, New Zealand band Shihad are calling it quits
Early next year, after almost 40 years of tearing up stages the world over, the band will be no more.Shihad this morning confirmed they will break up after one big final tour that will see them doing what they do best — absolutely destroying on stage in front of their adoring fans.
"When you can't sustain those things or plan for those things, it takes away from Shihad being something that makes sense. It's about a shared commitment and a shared energy." "At the age of 50, we shouldn't actually be making a rock'n'roll record this good," frontman Jon Toogood told Double J about it at the time.
